Back End Developer

Satcom is looking for a Back-End Developer to integrate our team developing a flexible management platform to help companies embrace digitalisation and manage more efficiently all their resources, such as team, fleet, articles, and others.

What you’ll do

  • Implement and maintain micro-services with different specifications, based on the requirements of our customers and business needs.

  • Develop high quality software design and architecture.

  • Develop auxiliary tools and applications with clean, efficient and reusable code.

  • Maintain and develop Unit and End-to-End tests to the different modules of our application.

What you must have

  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.

  • 2+ years of experience developing Java applications.

  • Java.

  • Docker.

  • Kubernetes.

  • Python.

  • C#.

  • NodeJS.

  • Experience with:

    • Microservices development.

    • Spring Framework, namely Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.

    • Message queues (Apache Kafka, Rabbitmq, or similar.

    • REST Services Integration.

    • Relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra) databases, and JPA/ORM.

    • SCRUM and Agile Development.

    • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc).

    • Unit Testing Frameworks (JUnit).

    • Spring Security.

    • Writing Nginx configurations.

    • HAProxy.
