Site Reliability Engineer

Satcom is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to integrate our team by providing support for developing a flexible management platform to help companies embrace digitalisation and manage more efficiently all their resources, such as team, fleet, articles, and others.

What you’ll do

  • Configure and maintain our platform, using industry best-practices such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Infrastructure as Code and GtiOps.

  • Ensure site reliability, security and availability, including end-to-end performance, service monitoring, alerting, capacity sizing and planning, optimizing resources for various projects, while maintaining target SLAs.

  • Implement rules, access control policies, and routes in our microservices architecture.

  • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with the engineering team to streamline code deployment.

  • Be available for on-call rotation, which is currently 1 week of on-call followed by 1 week without on-call.

What you must have

  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position.

  • Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and Scripting (mainly bash and python).

  • Experience with microservices development.

  • Experience with Gitlab CI.

  • Experience in monitoring tools.

  • Experience in networking, DNS and load balancers.

  • Proficient with the following technologies:

    • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

    • Kubernetes

    • Kustomize

    • Helm

    • Docker

    • Flux CD
