Site Reliability Engineer
Satcom is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to integrate our team by providing support for developing a flexible management platform to help companies embrace digitalisation and manage more efficiently all their resources, such as team, fleet, articles, and others.
What you’ll do
Configure and maintain our platform, using industry best-practices such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Infrastructure as Code and GtiOps.
Ensure site reliability, security and availability, including end-to-end performance, service monitoring, alerting, capacity sizing and planning, optimizing resources for various projects, while maintaining target SLAs.
Implement rules, access control policies, and routes in our microservices architecture.
Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with the engineering team to streamline code deployment.
Be available for on-call rotation, which is currently 1 week of on-call followed by 1 week without on-call.
What you must have
BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in a similar position.
Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and Scripting (mainly bash and python).
Experience with microservices development.
Experience with Gitlab CI.
Experience in monitoring tools.
Experience in networking, DNS and load balancers.
Proficient with the following technologies:
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Kubernetes
Kustomize
Helm
Docker
Flux CD
What we value

Experience in configuration management tools such as Ansible.
